Greetings,

I just got Cubase SX installed on my new pc a few weeks ago, and I am about to start experimenting. I have a 2.4 gig pentium 4 pc with a 40 gig hd, a second 80 gig hd with a pullout bay, 1 gig of ram, and an echo mia soundcard. I'm not new to recording, but brand new to computer recording.

Here are my questions:
1) How do I go about setting my pc up for optimum low latency recording?
2) How would I sync up my Korg D16 Digital workstation via midi? Should I use Cubase as the master, and how do I do that? Also, MTC, MMC or Midi Clock?

Thanks!

Mark

you didn't say what operating system you're running....regardless, there is tons of info out there on the net on tweaking yer computer for low latency operation. Here's an example:

just run a google search and see what you get.

Thanks for the link. I'm running XP Pro by the way.
