uh uh...

need mo' data and a week by the beast... but it looks promising... It's got a subtractive synth engine! That's neat! ..
... the first plug-in software minimoog emulator to really sound like a moog... yes well... isn't this supposed to be one of the only plug-in software minimoog emulators? ... and can it emulate a moog as well as a novation bass station or a waldorf pulse???

need to know more about the polyphony available and the amount of effects you can use per part... and more importantly, can each part have totally unique and different effects settings??

... the lightwave part sounds cool, but i need to know more...

i won't ever be using the six strings, the four strings and the organ... if i want guitar or bass, i'll definitely be playing it on my own...

beatzbox??? need to know more.. polyphony, sound selection, modeling options, filters??? I don't think it's gonna surpass the waldorf Attack in any way...

perhaps the lightwave and the hybriddd part can give some spank-yo'-ass, but as for the moog, i think any waldorf synth will be able to give you more value, more modulation and probably better filters... that goes for novation and access products as well... perhaps the polyphony available will get the better of me, since the grand master piece - the waldorf microwave only has 10 voices and waldorf has never been crazy on the effects area... of course the waldorf q and q+ (which supposedly have got analogue filters.. haven't tried it yet) has got wavetable synthesis with 128 waves (like the lightwave) and it's got 2 independant filters per voice (most definitely better than those of i creamware, i'm almost willing to make a bet on that...

as for novation : you got both extreme modulation, lost of voices and oscillators. a huuuuge effects engine, and it's also capable of fm, with 9 algorithms...

basically a real synth would still provide you with alot more when you take the individual parts and compare them, but i do see the cool thing about having 9 different sound modules in one box... allthough for now i'd say that i'd rather get a waldorf attack, a waldorf microQ and a yamaha rs7000... not neccesarily in that order...
but let's see when they offer more info...
