In this month's Computer Music they told you how to build an audio PC from scratch and they did a comparison of an Athlon 1.4 with a pentium 4 1.7. The Athlon won again. It seems that it won't be long before AMD shed the stigma that people have with them about compatability etc If you ask me that is just Intel propaganda.

How Intel can charge so much more for thier processors when they have lost 40% market share in the past 2 years is beyond me.....
