I don't really know how you would classify it, but give it a listen and give me some feedback. Thanks!
The Characters
the song is "Your Love"
also download it instead of streaming, it sounds a whole lot better.

Well you got some of those Beatleish tones on the guitars. The vocals remind me a lot of early Steppenwolf (John Kay vocals). You definately have got a 60ish sound going, like from just before psychadellia was all the rage.

You got the jangly Rick sound going. There's decent detail on it.

The vocal performances are a little loose. I'd probably send them both down the center or at least close. The syncing issues are very noticable on headphones.

Is there a bass in there? On my headphones I can't tell. The tune needs some low end to it.

I think the reverb sounds OK, but it's a little on the wet side.

It's got a 60's feel to it. But there's no bass, which I think it needs. Also, the drums are way too distant. I know that drums didn't hit you in the face in 60's music, but they're really really low. And you might want to re-arrange the "harmonies". They're not really harmonies. More than half the time, the higher part is just singing an octave higher than the lower one. Nice melody though, the song has alot of petnetial.

I agree with the previous post...you definetly have captured that 60's sound....a bit more low end would sound cool, but I think too much would take away from the 60's ambience!Kinda reminds me of the Mamas and the Papas!

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm working on a new mix.
Anyone else.
