A friend of mine has one of those and played it in church recently--a truly beautiful sounding instrument.

That's a beauty all right-nice lines and styling to it. Remember to check if it can be tuned to A440 or if it need tuned lower and capoed.

thanks. But honestly...no more for me for a while.

Yeh right. You are hooked you need the fix, soon you'll be clawing at the windows of your favorite guitar shop or standing in the front row of the local gigs hoping the nice young girly vocalist will move over so you can stare at the guitar in the background. We've all been there.

Also once you move up to 12 strings from 6 you won't be able to stop. When you want 24 strings give me a call we'll work something out.:D

Another VERY IMPORTANT THING to be wary of--and I bet Muttley will agree--is watch out for ceiling fans with a 12 string!!! A headstock on a 6 string is long enough-a 12 string is longer~
A bass player buddy almost lost his headstock to a ceiling fan years ago!!

Oh yeah, my bet is late December-Christmas time!

My son and I had to get a 12 string in a hurry for an important gig that he had - we got a Guild, but then later tried that Breedlove (actually one without a cutaway) and had ...pangs... The Guild is nice, though.

Another thing about 12 strings is that when you have nice beefy tuners, the headstock weighs a ton.

So Muttley, Anfontan....you guys think I'll be okay tuning to 440 with lights?

Thats what they quote for it so yes. You may find it easier to play tuned down a half step but that is personal choice.
