Neumann U87 parts

I have an old U87 with the 7 pin connector in the head and need to convert it to 3 pin XLR. Does anybody know who carries parts for Neumann mics? I also need a shock mount or regular mount.

No one will have parts for that old thing. Better just send it to me,and I'll recycle it-I've been turning them into egg beaters...:D

1) Go play in traffic, DJL. I never said a freaking word about you in this thread, and you decide to take a shot at me. Grow up, already.

2) Did you even LOOK at the page you linked for this guy? The mic pictured in your link has a 3 pin XLR connection...that's not the mic he needs help with. If you read really closely, you'll notice he has a 7 pin connector, and needs to convert to XLR.

3) Based on your response in this thread and in others, I''d say your sense of humor needs a little tweaking...if you have one.

Thanks again DJL. I called and talked to the Neumann Parts & Service department today and was completely blown away. They were more than helpful. I remember the days when Gotham Audio was the US Distributor and it was like pulling teeth doing business with them. Another suprise was they answer the phone late night. Dial extension 149 after 5:00pm EST.
