I can't seem to find anything on how to record multiple inports, say 2 vocals and two guitars, to record to a track for each. I follow the directions to arm one track and input. Push input button while holding down the select button and I have say "H" to selected to track one. Now i want "g" to record on track 2 but i can't seem to get it set to a track for each , one lights up and the other shuts off. what iam i missing? Great machine, i now have the best rythum guitar player who knows all my moves and even makes the same mistakes as me. thanks for the help brian

It's working as it should. Thnk about it. If it left all the lights on for all the input/channel assignments, all you'd see is a bunch of lit up inputs and channels and that wouldn't tell you anything. So, when you assign an input to a track, only the lights for that last assignment you made stays lit.

Instead of looking for lights, use your ears to confirm that input G is assigned to channel 2. Play or sing something into input G, turn up channel 2, and see if you hear anything.

thanks I replyed to your answer in another thread. manual seems to leave out what you stated pretty clearly. I do have an even stupider (sp) question . how do you set your return to the beginning of the song you are working on, if it the third song in and you don't want to go all the way back to the beginning of the track. some quick return trick maybe? As soon as I learn the recording language I will I understand it better. thnaks

Cool. One thing I forgot to mention is that you can see which inputs are assigned to which channels simply by pressing on an input's button. It will flash along with the channel it's assigned to.
