Need vocal mixing advice

This song is not done being mixed yet, but I'm having trouble figuring out what is wrong with these vocals. I can't have the singer redo them (internet collab) so any advice on what I can do mixing-wise to make them sound better?

the vocals sound a bit muddy in the low/low mids and it's clashing with the snare at around 200 Hz and the toms, the frequencies of the vocal are definitely overlapping and clashing with other instruments and drums.
