need to try out a new program

for the past 3 years ive been using Acid pro products (2,3 and 4)
and Wavelab 3,4

the lack luster of acid is wearing out for some reason

whats a good prg. i can try/use that wont have a *huge learning curve, but is similar to Acid pro 4???

The only things I know that do the ACID kind of thing are SONAR and Ableton Live.
 
Yep. In fact, when you drop audio onto Vegas, the default mode is 'loop'.
 
Not in the version of Vegas I have. My audio is always straightforward, just an audio track on the timeline, by default...
 
Hmm...on version 4, looping is on by default. Either way, it's easy to switch to loop mode.
 
OK, I have Vegas Video 3 still.

Looping by default seems really odd to me for a video editing program.
