Need to rip and burn

I hope this is the right section for this post.

My 7 yr old computer came loaded with Music Match, Roxio CD creator and of course, Windows media player. All of which I have used over the years to rip and burn CD's, but mostly, Music Match.

For the past few months, I've not been able to get my Music Match to open nor have I been able to re-install it. No problem, I'll just use the other programs....but the CD's they are creating either malfunction in the ripping process or the burning process and some or all tracks aren't cleanly recorded.

Is there a decent free download site that you've used that is pretty consistant that you recommend?

Thanks for the response NL5. Nero came up in a search and I did download it
from cnet. When I tried to open it though, it denied me access. Hmmph.......
 
Hmmm... a 7 year old computer, and Music Match won't burn CD's anymore, and the other software programs create faulty discs... sounds like it's probably your CD burner that is fried.

You can buy new CD / DVD burners these days from 20$ or so.
