R rowads80 New member Dec 22, 2003 #4 ok, but.... for now, I have a sblive sound card, and am running rca out of the mixer into the line in input... I tried recording guitar with the mic. what I notice is that the quality is no different from when I run a 1/4" to 1/8" from my guitar into the line in cpu input. is that cause of the sound card? why is the quality no different?
