What do you want to do that you feel you cannot at the moment with your current set up?

that's a lot easier to ask then it is to decide......
i guess, aside from "sound better" my stuff just needs more.... air?
it often lacks a sense of really being there.

hell i dont know, click my sig, listen to my stuff see what you think.

someone's gotta have an opinion on this??????????!?

This is just my opinion by the way (crappy pc speakers):
Do you compress your drums? It sounds like your drums have been compressed too much, guitar's a little too loud, just seems like a lack of dynamics epecially when all tracks come into play-there's a sudden loss in volume, there also seems to be a lack of brightness.

What i generally do is connect at least one mic suspended away from the source (Usually SM-57s) to capture the room dynamics, when i mix i turn this channel up just till i can hear it then, fade it back again a couple of notches. This Adds a little organic feel to things. There is an awful lot happen at once in the track i listened to, so mabye Eq some of the instruments in the same freq range so they're not fighting for space.

i'm aware of the copious compression on the song "click clack"
that's just how they wanted it.........(not like that on others)

but the lack of hi end, that is one of the things i'm talking about.
