I'm a fairly new user of sequencing software and I have Pro Audio 8. I wanna know how a track can be faded in this program. Also, how can I pan a track so it goes from, let's say, left to right, then back to left and keep on repeating the process? If these techniques can be done in CPA 8, then let me know. Thanks.

yes it can

you can right click on the fader inthe console view and choose "edit automation data" u can use the different tools to draw fade lines and set panning etc. ck it out

Hello there c7sus...I was referring to MIDI sequences my friend and dave has certainly given me the right answer. bTw, how would you fade/pan audio in CPA 8? Also, how much better is CPA 9 from 8 as far as simple sequencing is concerned? Take care.

Hey Cheesecake -
You can also do fades from edit/audio/fade/envolope, if you have converted your midi file to a wave. A simple example, would be to select the last 8 or so bars of a mix and to a linear fadeout.

I use 9 and would never go back to 8.
