Need some feedback

The song is good... but i didn't like a couple of things... i think is not the right tone for the vocals, it feels like she's having a hard time reaching those low tones. I think she could sing a 3rd up and the feel would be a lot better.

The drums, they are too Superior Drummer feeling. They sound great, but they feel too robotic and too on front, put them back a little and try mixing them a little, make some changes, fills and stuff...

Guitars are also too on front man, they sound great, but maybe just 1 db down could do the trick.

The bass is great.

Overall is a good mix... just minor details so good job.

Hmm...just to muddy the waters a bit ;) on first listen, I thought the clean chorused guitar part was too far back in the mix, maybe bringing it up a hair in the mix would help in bringing the drums back a hair? Good song though, catchy tune :)
 
I think some EQ on the vocals (taking out some of the lower frequencies) could help understand the vocals better. Were the drums done with a drum machine? I'd add in some cymbal hits to transition to different parts of the song. It really adds some feeling to the song and makes it more enjoyable. Very good so far!
 
I agree with everyone here. The song's good. Need to do something about the vocals to bring it out more. Not sure about EQ'ing it because it was deliberately sung low. Like Zero said, she might try to sing it a bit higher.

It actually gave me an idea... to have low vocals on one track and a higher one on another track and mix to taste. I can only imagine how it would sound, I might actually try it in one of my projects.

Anyway, nice song.. reminds me of the 80's... brings back memories of high school.

I liked the song. The contrast between verses and choruses is great.

The vox can get tough to hear in the verses. Might want to compress them a little harder. Words at the end of phrases tend to get lost. Some pitch problems here and there.

I liked the clean guitar tone. The verb on it was real nice. Nice little riff.

Distorted guitar sounded OK, but I bit on the digital side. A little sizzly for my tastes. It jumps out a bit too much. Maybe pull it back a nudge.

Drums are OK. They get a little "programmy" sounding at times. Seems like a snare beat here and there is a little late. Maybe that's just me, dunno.
