Ditto on what's already been said. First, vocals are an instrument that you play. 99.9% of everybody's voices are good enough to sing professionally, but most people haven't invested the time and effort to learn how to play that instrument. Your voice is not fundamentally different from Bruce Springsteen's. He's just expended more effort learning how to use it, and he has better engineers.
Secondly, vocals are a thing that (usually) involves *words*. Sometimes, when you mix vocals as if they were an instrument, you get a well balanced mix that sounds fine, but no one has a clue what you said. You can't hide behind reverb. Like they said, clean it up, stick it out there, and live with it.
Finally, a couple of points on technique- Your pitch is pretty good, once you find it. You have a tendency to start a word or a phrase flat, and then slide to the correct note. Practice hitting that note right from the get-go. You're not a trombone. Finally, clean up your diction. Say the word *bigger*, not *louder*, as if you were talking to someone that is hearing disabled, or speaks a foreign language. Stop worrying about your voice, and start worrying about how to sing better. Good luck.-Richie
