hey guys. i'm new here (despite registering long ago) and i read through the threads and saw that you were real helpful so i thought i'd stick around. here's my dilemma. i do recording through a samson mpl2242 mixer and delta 1010lt. i was in a band in which i recorded numerous times, but i have since left the band. unfortunately, the mics i used to record belong to the band, so i now have to start all over with mic selection. here are my choices for my mics:
- Shure Drum Mic Kit (the one with SM57's and Beta 52, unless someone has a good opinion on the PG series, but i haven't really heard anything great)
- 2 Audio Technica PRO37R's for overhead/ambience mics
- Studio Projects B1 for vocals
i'm on a REAL low budget, so take that into consideration and give me some advice on my selection if you can. thanks alot.
