Is there any way that I can hook up a MPC2000XL, Motif ES Rack, Fantom XR, and Radium61 without a MIDI interface?

I know that the Radium61 has 2 Midi outs and the MPC has 2 midi ins and outs. I could take the Radium61 out and put it in the MPC midi in. Take the midi out on the MPC and put it in the midi in on the Motif ES. Then, I guess I should be able to take the other midi out on the MPC and put it in the Fantom XR midi in. Will that work just fine without a midi interface?

Sure,
Just chain all your outs from the radium to the ins and then connect the thrus to the in on the chain and set your radium to send on different channels

I guess it is all about how you want to set your rig up. I would use the MPC as the sequencer and go from there

Yeah, I do want to try to sequence in the MPC because I'll be using it for sampling anyway.

You'll find that it's just as good a pattern-based sequencer as it is a sampler. I used one for years with great success.

Not really, and once you get it, it is very productive and easy.

Scores of tracks have been made and released using just the MPC (DJ Shadow comes to mind)

Okay, cool. Because I'm trying to use all the features on my equipment, so I can know them in and out.

Get-a-going then, Jae Little! You've been asking questions for long enough. Now get out there and make some music!
