Howdy all,
I have learned a lot about digital recording the last couple of days. Thanks for the help!
Since I have a very limited budget for recording gear I am considering buying an older Sony MDM-X4 minidisc as a beginners recorder to use for recording live performances. It is described as being a four track recorder and if I am correct this particular model will record four tracks simultaneously. Is that correct? It looks like it has four inputs to be used with mics or instrument signals. If four inputs can be used simultaneously what will that do to the already limited disc storage space of the MD? Any comments on using this machine for multi-track live performance recording would be appreciated.
If any of you folks have a nice one for sale let me know.
