Need Help

My kids and I want to play a keyboard,Bass guitar and Lead guitar into a soundblaster live and use cakewalk to do the mixdown.We are new at this and really dont know how to do this.I would think all of the instruments would have to be hooked into something and then into the sound card but I dont know what.Any help would be appreciated..Thanks

yep, you'll need a mixer or some sort of audio interface..between all your stuff and the pc. i use a mixer, and a delta 44 and it's limited to 4 tracks, but it works well for me. good luck!!

Or if you want to do it "the basic way", just forget about the mixer and record one track at a time... We've all started there, you see.
