I am a voice actor  , and I am trying to learn how to use/find a pc voice recording that I can use that helps filter out noise, and such, as well as learn how to save it and send it to potential clients. This is hard for me so if someone can tell me where I can go that will teach it to me like I am slow   I would appericate the help.lol I like audacity, but I can not fig out how to save the file so I can send it to my potential employers. any help would be appericated:) :D

Don't record noise. Seriously, if you're doing the recording, eliminate the source of the noise prior to pressing "record."

You need to export the file as a WAV, in the File tab. Encode it to MP3 if needed, Musicmatch is free.

If you use a Dynamic mic (SM58) instead of a condenser it will not pick up background noise like a condenser. A noise gate is the filter, you should be able to download one free.

Tasteofme, if you could tell us how much you are willing to spend on equipment, it would be a great help in recommending the right gear, that way you can get the most bang for buck.
