Need help!

I can record music in cool edit and my card has full duplex support.... So All this is working, But I cannot hear my voice though my monitors as it is recording, Only in playback. I can record in mulitrack sessions as well. The way I use to have it set up is that you could hear the line in all the time, Now I have a new computer I am trying to achive this again.... Im using XP with an Imic, Anyone know how I could activate this?
 
never heard of an Imic. new one on me. what is it ?
whats your sound card in your pc ?
some pro sound cards have pass thru monitoring on them so you can
hear while recording.
 
Imic is a USB Recording card, Its sampling rate is 48... Its a little crummy But better than my last card that I had on my desktop... The desktop I could monitor tho... I have unmuted the Line-In but to no effect, If I mute it it stops recording, It should be able to do this, I have never seen a card (Even a 20$ piece of crap card) not do this....

There must be some simple solution to do this
