Sorry, really didn't know what kind of subject to put in the subject line for this kind of question.
I am having a rather difficult time listening to my vocals while recording them. I lay down my Acoustic Guitar parts and then lay down the vocal track.
Something just seems odd, when I am monitoring the vocals sound kind of distant and "airy" no matter how much I turn down the other parts of the song. When I turn the other tracks down though I tend to sing too soft, and when it is at normal levels I tend to sing to loud because I can't hear myself very well.
I am using a Little Philps Stereo for my headphone amp. Could this be it?
I am not even really sure how to explain this so if I confused anyone I apologize.
