Need help with mix (specifically low end)

I've been working on this song, and I just can't get the mix to sound right. The kick and the bass seem to get all muddy. It isn't finished yet, I still need to do a second verse, but I want to get the mix at least a little better now.

Thanks. I actually did re upload a newer version shortly after I first posted it, and it seemed to be a little better.

Generally speaking, the bass usually lives below the kick... sounds like you have the meat of both in the same range. To be honest, it sounds fine to me as is.. but if you try taking out a little 120hz from the bass, and a little 70-80hz from the kick, it might clear it out a bit.

Sounds more musical to me than usual hip-hop stuff, so I think it's pretty good. Nice recording.

Sounds great man ! Crisp and crystal clear. Interesting instrumentation and nice flow on the vocal delivery. Personally, I was wishing for a little more meat to the drum track, but my teeny tiny laptop speakers could be to blame for this . Cool.
