Hello,
I have edited this pose per request. I will make it much shorter and to the point. (I apologize for anyone who had to read the last post)

I just purchased a Korg nanopad and was wondering if there was a way to map it with LMMS. I have found the MIDI options and have been able to map one sound to the controller, only problem is, it maps that one sound by default to each of the 12 pads. Is there a way I can map a whole drum kit so for example, bass drum is on pad one, snare on two, and so on?

Also, is there a way in LMMS where I can map the MIDI pads so they mute/play a track?

Thais Is my firs experience with MIDI and all the help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,
And thank you to Dave for editing advice I am not a contract lawyer :)

No.
Edit that post and put in some paragraphs, a bit of light and shade.

Looking at that text block has caused my eyeballs to switch my brain off.

You a contract lawyer or something?

Dave.

Great improvement, others please take note!

However , I am sorry I cannot help with your problem . I do not use Linux and know jack about it.
I do have a nanoKONTROL2, bought as a whim and sort of got it working in Cubase/Win 7 but that is of no help to you.

There is a guy that uses Linux for music (and an NI KA6) over at Sound On Sound | Recording Techniques | Audio Technology | Music Production | Computer Music | Video Media Maybe he can help?

Good luck,
Dave.
