need help with line6 tone port

i want to make the tone port my default sound recording and playback device on my comuter. so far it works for most of my software like adobe audition and fruity loops but when i try to play a cd through windows media the sound doesnt go through the tone port, the meters dont even move. there are a few other softwares that do the same thing. how do i set the tone port up to be the dominant sound device?

go to your control panel assuming your using windows, click sound and audio devices select the audio tab and set the playback and or recording device to the tone port.
