Being the old dinosaur rock n roller (i.e. early Allmans, Skynyrd, etc) that I am, maybe my brain cells are too fried to grasp this part of the 16g. No problem with the rest, just those damn samples. What I'm basically doing is laying down a keyboard track (just chords for the sample to follow) then another keyboard track, some acoustic guitar tracks, lead tracks, followed with vocals. The problem is that after I lay down the initial track, and pull up the pad track that I want to use, the tempo gets all jacked around when I hit play to record the pad to the pad track. I know that this is probably a very simple fuck up on my part, but any help would certainly be appreciated by those of you out there that own the 16g. Having zippo experience in the DAW world doesn't help matters, but I wanted to start out with something decent, rather than upgrade down the road. Hopefully I'm not the only one out there having problems understanding the manual. I've poured through many manuals in my lifetime, but this one is a real mindfuck. If jeffree, dinsdale, or juststartingout happen to read this thread, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx, MH
