Need help to send a song

I would like to take a song from my cd rom and be able to send it by e-mail to someone but don't know how to go about doing this.Please help, I am new to computors and truly a newbie, be kind,gentle but informative. Thank you!

Two ways to go about this, my brother.
You need to first convert it to MP3. You can download a MP3 encoder like mine, SCMPX.
Then you can either send it via a winzip file, or you can post it somewhere on the internet where it can be downloaded by your friend.
http://www.mp3.com you can upload & post your song for anyone to download, or get yourself an on-line "storage locker", like at http://www.iuma.com, then anyone can download it there.
