I Have A Digi Design Mbox (the 1st Version) And Im Using Pro Tools Le. I Make Beats Using My Triton And Ive Been Trying To Record The Beats From My Triton Through The Mbox Using Pro Tools. Now, I Connected My Triton With (the Kind Of Plugs You Use For Plugging Your Electric Guitar To An Amp) "2" 1/4 Plugs Connected In The Back Of My Triton To The Back Of The Mbox Where There Are 1/4 Plugins As Well. Now When I Record I Just Press Play On My Triton Then Press Record On Pro Tools. The Thing I Dont Like Is The Hiss And Sometimes A Crackling Sound That Is Heard In The Background. Ive Asked A Couple Of People Already At Guitar Center And I Want To Get Some Info From You Guys. I Have Been Told That The Reason For The Hiss Could Be Bad Cables, Plugs That Are In The Same Outlet, And Having Your Cords Tangled, Touching Each Other, Or If Your Cords Are Rolled Up. But By Doing All These Things Can This Really Reduce The Hiss Greatly? I Want To Reduce The Hiss Completely. Please Help Me I Have A So Called Friend That Has The Same Equipment As Me And His Recordings Sound Way Cleaner Than Mine And I Cant Believe It. He Doesnt Want To Share Any Knowledge Wih Me. Anybody Please Help Me Out I Know That There Is Alot Of People Here With Great Knowledge On This Concept! Please Give Me Some Useful Info On What To Buy Or What To Use! If Any Info Proves Useful To Me I Will Happily Give You Music Samples From Drum Kits To Sound Effects Just Hook Me Up With Your Email And Ill Send Them To You! Thanks For Taking The Time To Read This Novel I Wrote! Hahaha *music4life*

Where in hell did you learn to type like that? It hurts my eyes.

I haven't used the M-box but, make sure the Phantom Power is turned off on the M-Box and get some new cords that are sheilded.

I've Got a Triton Keyboard And Sometimes Use The Audio Out (It Spends Most Of It's Time As A Midi Keyboard Controller). I Run It To A Pair of DI's (Left And Right Audio Out), And Then Into My Delta1010 Card. It Could Be Your Cables But This Should Be Quick And Easy To Test. Do Both Channels Sound Like This? Replace Or Exchange One Of Your Cables...This Should Be The Easiest Thing To Eliminate. I Can't Comment On The Rest Of Your Gear As I'm Not Familiar With It. The Triton Audio Outs Should Deliver A Nice Clean Source...Do You Have A Monitor Speaker? You Could Plug Directly Into It...This Would Help To Eliminiate Your Audio Card And Other Devices In Your Signal Chain. One More Suggestion...Please Don't Type Like This Anymore. ;)

IfYouDo,I'llBeInclinedToRespondLikeThisWhichReallySucksDon'tYouThink? :D
