Need Help! Please look at this bass.

I have searche the web over the past year or so looking to i.d. this bass.
It's a Takamine solid body, neck threw bass. I have found nothing on it.
Has anyone even ever seen one of these? Perhaps at a Cinderela concert or something?

Any help would be great. Takamin site was no help. I can find nothing on a solid body takamine bass of any shape or size.

Takamine has an excellent reputation for acoustic instruments. I've played them a few times but just can't get around the thick body and never plugged one in, but I have to think they sound significantly different plugged in than a solid body would, otherwise we wouldn't be spending all the time we do talking about the difference in tone between this wood and that and the advantages of chambered or hollow body electrics. That said, you could try to track down a Takamine Solid body. I only know of 2, one I own and one owned by Isimy here on TB (his looks nearly the same except for being a Flying V body shape. http://home.comcast.net/~tlajoie/TB/Takamine.jpg

Well I'll be damned! Thanks! Now I Know others do exist at least.
That guys is a dead ringer. Doesn't sound like I'll get rich if I decide to sell it, but what the hell I got it and a working 70's sun stack for $150.00. Use the sunn stack all the time, not the bass though.
