Hey guys,

I made an intro and a verse for a song. I was figuring out how to make the mix sound better.
I know you guys have more experience on this field, please take a listen to this sample and see what sort of changes have to be made.
Any help is welcome:)!

Tnx!

Hmmm. Sounds pretty good. Ii'd say maybe trim just a hair o' mud out of the guitars. Bring the kick up, and add some definition. If possible, re-tune that snare when you re-record, and bring the level down a bit. Maybe add a quick plate to it as well.

Tnx NL5, greatly appreciated!
Now you mentioned it, the bass-guitar is a little muddy, but I can't figure out how to make it sound more vibrant in the mix. And about the Drums,
I don't have the privilage to record a live drum-set, 'cause I have no mic-kit (yet:P). So I have to settle with my drum sequencer Addictive Drums.
I recorded the guitars via a Roland Cube-30 line out to my line in Build in Soundcard in my laptop.
For the bass-guitar, I plugged it directly in the mic input of the laptop and editited this all in Cubase.
But I'm saving up for a line 6 Toneport UX8, I hope that the sound will improve:).
