Need help mixing synth with drums! <link provided>

Basically the intro of my song but ive added the main instruments so you can give feedback on how i can mix n master this bitch/

The bass drum sounds muffled and the synth seems to be punching out of the track. The claps sound ok i guess. Tried eq experimentation on the sample but im going no where.
Any help sorting out the eqs of this sample will be greatly appreciated!

Ten seconds isn't much to go on.

But on the kick - I'm guessing you want a more defined attack. I'd first suggest to look for a different sample. The one you have is fine, but it's not what it seems like you want.

Here's something I've done in a similar situation, but I don't know if it's going to work for you. First create an aux send on the kick. On that aux buss, set up an eq to roll off everything below 1K or so - leaving just the high end of the kick. Then compress the $hit out of what's left - you might just have enough high end energy to provide a defined attack. Rout the aux buss back with the kick track. Adjust the level to taste. I have to say I think this is a long shot though.
