Need help identifying a mic

Good point- especially on AKG shock mounts with plastic threads. I use one of those quick releases on my original Shure 55 (circa 1943), because the mic has nonstandard threads, so I screwed a quick release into it with plumber's thread tape. What the hell? It works.

I did that with an old microphone - I just can't remember which one it was now.
 
I am 100% positive AKG c214..the 214 has a specific internal capsule shock-mount based on the 414, but has a type of tripod appearance from the back that is unmistakable. Looking at the photo it is clearly visible. :thumbs up:
