NEED help for uca202 audio interface

the UCA202 audio interface sound will not go throu i download the driver so it will read it and when i go into audiocity it recognizes it but when i record no sound ?
im using A xenyx mixer connected to a windows 7 laptop
did i set up the RCA cables wrong ?!

alrighty..first things first...ditch the funky color & weird size lettering will ya..I`m honestly having a hard tme reading it..LOL

I have that same exact unit..and it`s about as plug and play as they get...with windows XP anyway..i never downloaded anything to get it to work..but again, I`m working with windows XP..
anyway, how do you know that AUDACITY reconizes it per se?

as far as the RCA`s, the unit is clearly marked for which lines go INTO it, and whch ones are the "OUT"`s for monitoring etc..

basicly, you would run your OUTS on your mixer, to the L/R INPUT on the UCA202..

watch the input gain, as these things are pretty hot..so start out with your mixer output turned all the way down, then slowly turn it up..

need a bit more info..and it`d probley help if i was more familiar with W7..

It say in audiocity for speakers and mics the usb behringer i click on it no sound i tried the RCA cables differnt plug themm into the mixer and take 1 red and 1 white into the output and input in the interface it records but is tht alright
