Hello all. Im new to the forum. I just started putting together my little project studio. I am getting a roland 880ex. Im on the market for some very inexpensive but trusty monitors. Is there any out there in the 150-200 dollar range that will get me by? any input would be appreciated, I do not know much about monitors in general, so any general info on what to look for would be helpful as well. thanks!

You can get a pair of the Wharfedale 8.1A actives in that price range. These are like the 8.2A actives but with a 5" instead of a 6.5". They come with a five year warranty too.

I say get the wharfedale's...i bought a pair of the 8.2 actives from deepwater and i think its the greatest addition i have made to my modest little home studio.

thanks a million Deepwater...:)
