Any suggestions on audio interface? Just to say, It's for homerecording, recording vocal covers in Sonar Producer ( nothing too professional), so it doesnt have to be some kind of a beast, just average, good quality/price ratio, 2/2 IO is just enough!

I was thinking maybe Alesis IO2 Express, but would appreciate suggestions and opinions?

Thanks! ;)

At the bottom of the barrel (and I have the same interface, so I'm not knocking it at all), all the interfaces seem the same to me. I also just bought for the experience a Fast Track Pro and a Tascam US122L. I can't tell a difference. I like the inserts, so I can use a rack compressor, but otherwise, I doubt there is much difference at all. The new US122 (MkII) doesn't have inserts, but I'm not buying one just to find out what else did or did not change.
I have a few computers, so I also tried Cubase and the free Audacity. Mix and match interfaces and recording software. Once you're done recording and mixing, I really can't hear 'Cubase' or 'Fast Track Pro'. It's recording that will change slightly, depending on how each interface feels to you and how easy it is to set up for you. But they're similar enough. You'll be happy.
