I recently purchased a fifty dollar pack of vocals by singer "Veela" and they sound amazing, but I have a hard time adding them to my beat. The tempo is perfect and the timing is right but it's off note. Don't know if anybody will know what this means, but each of the sound files have letters and numbers before it, such as FDmCC9, I'm sure that has to do with the note that it is, but is there something that I'm missing. and im not sure what the numbers stands for. Thanks!

If you can't understand music theory, there's another way. You can modify the instrumental track's key automatically by using a free software such as Audacity. Audacity has an option called "Change Pitch" - you can change the key by half-step up and down until it matches the vocals. You could of course do the same with vocals but it is better to try with the instrumental since vocals might end up sounding unnatural.

Just make sure to convert the track to WAV format before loading it to audacity.

Hope this helps.
