Hi,
Does anyone know where I can download Open Guitar Chords on one or more files, so I can print them out?
I know there are web sites that you can print one chord at a time, or all the chords within the same key.
I'm looking for all the basic open chords on one or two sheets.
Thanks!

Support your local music store!

Go and purchase a $5-10 dollar chord booklet a local (Small) music store. You just may help them stay in business so that later on down the road, they will be there to compete with the larger chains!

Ditto. This is the kind of thing you get at the local store.

I have been supporting my "small" music store for the 20+ years of my guitar playing. I agree with your buying from small local music stores idea.

However, the way the small and big stores around here jack up thier prices, the "$5-10 dollar small chord booklet"
as you put it, would be selling more like $35 USD.

maybe you guys know of a good web site to buy music stuff from?
Thanks.

So where do you live? I bought a book with over 100,000 chords and paid about $20.00 for it. It's about as thick as the Dallas phone-book.

One good series to look at if you want a systematic approach is the Guitar Grimoire books. They're about $20 a pop and are encyclopaedic.

If you want to focus on open tunings, check out Acoustic Guitar magazine publications (String Letter Publishing) or visit their web page.

Another good resource is Steve Baughman; do a search and you'll find the only book written on frailing style guitar.

The Celtic Guitar pages also have lots of resources.

Start here: Art Edelstein's Celtic Fingerstyle pages

Thanks all, I'm good with major and minor open chords on my acoustic, but would like to get into differn't variations and what not. Thanks for all the added replies. :)

The library is always a good place to find books. If you don't want to go spend money. :)
