The reverb and ride cymbals are things to enhance, not hide behind. Drop that ride way down in the mix. Either a separate take, or if the drums are mixed, thru EQ.
Get the basics sound, then enhance with ride and reverb, if there is any room left. Imagine how tight the song would be if there was no "room" left to add reverb and rivet-ride sizzle cymbals.
Cut out the empty space at the end.
