Need constructive criticism on this song.

hey, y'all. Here is a song that a friend and I made, it was recorded and mixed in my parents' basement. We don't have much equipment, but i would very much appreciate some feedback on it. We've been working on our personal style and are trying to make music that is unique. We're both 17 years old and we're interested in making music for life. Let us know what you think!

I'm no expert - but I'd separate the piano further away from the vocals.

The two voices arent' always in time with eachother, but they sound like they can be really good - especially at the chorus parts... I'm big on bringing the backing vocals up in most mixes - texture.

I love the low end of the piano ... a bit bumpy but it's one of my favorite tones.... at 17, I was less than useless - you're way ahead of that.
