need cakewalk help!!!

im fairly new to cakewalk and sonar, and im having problems with using soft synths. when i go into effects i dont see DX pluggin section. how do i install soft synths into cakewalk or sonar??? once installed how do i open them up and use them?? what about other pluggins (.dll), how do you istall them???
 
Open the chapter in the manual, it's all very well explained.... ;)
