Hi, I have a few questions regarding the signal chain of an M-audio DMP3. I recently purchased this brand new for a good deal, and forgot that this isn't a simple usb connection, so what do I need to get this working for vocals over a beat only? will a Behringer UCA202 interface be all I need? I dont want to spend more money than I have too...I'm confused on what EXACTY it is I need to make this work with my computer, Thanks!

Yes, you need an interface. The Behri is not the best choice, but it would work with a couple of TRS to RCA cables.

Thanks for the reply, is this something I can purchase with 50-100 dollars or is this a more expensive thing?

Your best bet under budget constraints, is to try the UCA202, and see where it gets ya. The issue is the quality of the D/A conversion from a $30 device. Not likely to be great. Though, likely better that you could do with you computers built in sound card.

Better devices are found above $150 or so. That is for you to decide what level of quality you are after. Start small and see where it takes you. You can always sell what don't do what you want it to...

Thanks, so What are some other devices to make it work? I'm kind of
Confused how I get it hooked to my computer.

Look at the stickies at the top of the newbie forum. Much knowledge to be had there. :)
