need a modern combo!

i am about to buy a 2x12 combo, i like the sound of a mesa boogie but cant afford it, i would like a hibryd or tube amp, as high as 700$ or lower, i know its hard but what can i do?!, i looked in the price range for a randall g3, the peavey valveking (not modern sounding), and the carvin mts wich (i dont know how it sounds). thnx in advance for your help
 
As I always say, buy used. If you don't mind shopping and checking out the equipment, buying used is can save you lots of money, if you're smart.
 
Try out a few Traynor models. They sound real good and are built like tanks.
 
i live outside the us and i cant try models or buy on ebay, not much used gear here either,
