need a good drop bass

i am looking for a good drop bass. something hard like on the dirty boys cut "hit the flo" i've been experimenting with eqing bass to get that sound but it's still not the same. can someone shoot me to a link where i can download one or give me some tips on how to create my own, just incase i'm doing the wrong thing?
 
Is it a sub kick or a sub bass????

I'll listen to it when I get to the ride but it'll probably be tommorow (4 in the morning) before I can post anything up.

it's a sub kick. i have found the one in the hip hop kit on the triton but i think i can tweak it with some compression because it doesn't last as long as i would like it to. the one the dirty boys uses hangs like a mutha.
 
a bass drum in the Roland TR-808 drum machine has the same sound... and if it's not the same, well it's much alike.--- i'll try to see i think i got the sound...-- but you can download it somewhere quite easily.

I meant to grab it but fell asleep...

But yeah it's 2 different versions of that kick in that tune. They use a short one and a long one. I'm not really sure how to tap into it on the TRITON but KORG usually has their drums in kits. If you can go into the kit you should be able to alter the pitch and decay on that kick you found. Just set another note to the same settings as that sound you found and set a longer decay to it and adjust the pitch til you got what you want.

If not I know I can find on in the lab but I stay fucking off..... If you still want me to shoot you something then just leave a email addy and I i'll get it to you.
 
Damn man... I made a kit with the longand short kicks, the snare, and the hat but fucked around and deleted the longer version of the kick. I got the medium version but it's a lil shorter than the long "hit the flo" kick.

Anyway... Anybody want this just leave a email cuz i'm having a problem uplaoding it to a site.
