Hi!
I'm new to the forum and I hope that it is the right section.
I'm a drummer and I offer a free drum track to everyone, so if you have your song with crappy ez drummer or similar or your drummer cannot do certain things or maybe you just want to listen your song with another drum arrangement I'm your man!
I've been playing drums for 14 years, played in a lot of different bands/styles, I won a lot of competitions (including the "drummer of tomorrow 2010" italy by Mapex Drums) and usual things..
I record with an echo audiofire 12 and an isa 828, i own the Audix dp7 kit, an sm57, MXL v67g and 4 audiotechnica ae3000, everything monitored with a pair of Dynaudio bm5a blabla..
I can send you every single dry track of the drum. I own a couple of different drums, some cymbals and snares so I can get different sounds if needed.
some rules:
I prefer to have finished songs or almost that so I can work on something without going mad. I need a bounce of your song without drums, the bpm of the song and if you have the version with your drums (to take some ideas if you want me to work in some direction). I cannot guarantee celerity in recordings because I already have some songs to record and if they're payed jobs I must set priority to them but I'll do my best as always :D
If you want to listen to me you can visit my youtube channel
youtube.com/simonemorettin
Some videos are recorded in a friend's studio, the ones with blue and red panels on the back, the others are recorded and mixed(ahahahahah) by me with my gear. There are also some friend's video, you must check Simone Morettin ones :)
I think that's all! If you have questions feel free to ask, I'm hoping to have written in the right section

Simone

Thanks Mike!
I'm using cubase 5 on a pc with an athlon x4 2.8ghz, 4gigs ram, an intel ssd and some hard disks for storage ^^

Hi, I'd like to work with you.
I'd write you a p.m soon.

Hi Simone, this sounds like a great opportunity.
I will try and write and record something quickly!

Yep, without problems, I'm always here!
In this weekend I'll record something for a couple of users from the forum, stay tuned ^^

Hey I am definately interested in working with you too, but not until next month when I get my real interface and will hopefully have written a few songs. Looking forward to listen to your drumtracks.

Btw that's really cool offering free tracks :)

....if you have your song with crappy ez drummer......

I suppose only a drummer with something to plug would refer to EZD as "crappy." So you have a ton of riffs that SD2 and DFH are not capable of producing?
Did you intend to "filter" the pool of potential clients? I was intrigued until I saw all the "fucking" going on. I'm not offended, I just figure there are a lot of people who would love to have a service like you are offering who will turn and run away when they visit your youtube site and see all the lizard fucking you're into. At the very least, it's an interesting marketing strategy.

I'm certainly no expert in marketing, but when the first contact includes fucking and dissing the competition, it tends to severely limit your pool of potential customers. I'll stick with my SD2 for now.

I should add, however, that you appear to be a very talented drummer! The drumming was fun to watch!

Well, I think you took the introduction too seriosly. In a forum it's easy to missunderstand when someone says something in an ironical way or when it's serious.
By the way if you want to enter the topic we can say that if you do certain thigs ezdrummer can be your first choice obviously but I'm offering something totally different! I still don't think that it would do what I do when I play, he can only be close in terms of performance (if you spend LOT of time working on) but it cannot invent your drum arrangment even with his tons of gigs of libraries of riffs and rockets, he cannot put his life into your music.. at least till today. So I basically think that my market and ezdrummer market are not in conflict, we are designed to do different things and I say "sorry" to its if it feels offended :)
I didn't understand the "lizard fucking thing"....
For the rest if you want I'm always available..

... and see all the lizard fucking you're into.

I didn't understand the "lizard fucking thing"....

Do lizards really do that? :D

Mmmm...I think he might be referring to the text messages at the start of your video and that you're kinda making fun of newbs and folks that use EZ Drummer.
He's saying that you'll get better responses if you didn't do that. :)

None of that really matters since he's giving it away for free. "Free" is all the marketing savvy you need. Free is a totally sucky business plan, but brilliant marketing.

the first one is free, if someone want's more songs we can talk, ok doing beneficence, I do it with all the passion that I can but I have to spend hours/stick/heads/energies doing this so I don't think is bad to ask something to pay :)

dude, why's everyone so rude. if they guy wants to drum for free to try to build some "clients" what's the harm?

True enough, Aaron! I like what he did for my tune, even if I can't afford to use him on every song now!

Mike B and Simone,

Sounds pretty good, nicely done!

Anyone got a sample of a song with the drums in it?
Would be nice to hear.
