Hello people, I have a collection of DVDs which are my best ones…..but the subtitle position are in awkward place so the partial image is hidden by them when the movie goes on. I had earlier used some DVD rippers that were well in converting movies to other formats but they did not have the function of adjusting the subtitles. Can anyone suggest software which is good in conversion as well as manages the subtitle problem???

Have you played the dvd in different players? Alota times the dvd player deter mains how the subs are rendered. Assuming it is the way the dvd is authored, there is no way to really edit existing subs. You would need to remove the original sub layer and re-author your own. Big hassle.not worth it. I use dvd architect to author. I don't edit previously authored dvds myself but I think dvd shrink will let you take out whatever layers you want. look up dvd authoring to find the software your looking for, again I don't think it is worth the hassle.

I too have been using this kind of software but without the subtitle feature. But, recently I found a dvdconverterdownloads.com that made up the work. It had features which enable you to adjust video subtitle, and add video watermark.

Hope that this will be the one that you are looking for.

They're like snake oil salesmen of old, travelling from town to town in their cyber-wagons.

One laments from the audience "I've got incurable bunions! Lordy, they're painful! Does anyone have any hope for me?!?"

And out pops the amazing purveyor of help from the back of his wagon, "Why certainly, sir! Just rub this on yer big toe!"

They're mothers must be proud of their career choices...
