Need a beat....got no drum skills

Here's the dillemma.....

I wanna write some songs and record rough samples so I can hear the overall sound.....But, I don't have drums and even if I did I can't play them. So my question is the following:

What program would be best to use to create drum beats to play along with? I've been using the FL Studio 6 demo and its alright....could do worse, but I'm not sure I care for the interface much. But if thats what it takes, I'll deal with it. Just doesn't seem like they used the most logical way to create tracks.

PC Drummer. You can try it out for free, you just can't save with the demo. I cant play a thing on drums and I use it. I just get drum tabs for songs that have a similar beat to what I'm after, put them into PC Drummer, and all is cool. You can export each part of the drum kit as a seperate track too.
 
BFD is an awesome package, but can get pretty spendy. Very good sounds...
