Anyone familiar with Martins / neck adjustment, this model in particular?
One of my students has one. We meet only fortnightly in a sort of roving group lesson / drinking session at various people's homes... I've never really looked closely at her guitar but given it's a few years old and she's never really played it much before now I suspect it probably needs a tweak... she seems to be struggling more than the others with holding the strings down, and she's got strong hands.
So I'm going to rock up next Monday night and if her guit needs an adjustment, hopefully give it one... except all my guitars are Matons which have a "remove the butt plug (strap plug) and insert a long specialised tool" method of neck adjustment, so that you don't actually have to untension the strings if you don't want to, so anything anyone can tell me on Martins would be useful.
I'm assuming it's an allen key thing which I can get to via slacking off the strings... I know how to adjust the neck, just want to know what tool(s) to take...
