Neat Looking Vintage Electro Voice Model 636

I just got this sweet looking microphone for free from my church that was cleaning out old stuff! It is an Electro Voice Model 636. I had a few questions about this Mic.
I was wondering if anyone had some general information on this? I see it is from the 50's or 60's.

I don't have a cable for this yet, but I am looking. It has a 4 pin connector on the bottom. Where can I get this cable or adapter?

Is this a good mic to use for recording a more "vintagey" type sound?

Thanks a lot!!

I actually think I have 2 exactly the same in my old mic collection, I really should get the collection out and put it in a display case LOL.

Alan.

Looking again mine look slightly different and from memory are AWIA mics.

they're cool mics, niceties. i have a Shure 533SA, which is a similar (omni, dynamic) mic. I find it's awesome to get distorted vocals or for a harp.
i really like those old shure omnis, though everyone keeps telling me they have no place in modern recording...

It's a PA mic, at one time ubiquitous in good house systems for halls, cafeterias, lecterns, etc.---a speaker's mic. Not spectacular but accurate. Also can double as a virtually indestructible blunt object. Will probably still work 200 years from now. I seem to remember that two of the pins involved the on/off switch.
