Natural Acoustic Guitar PreAmp

Hey all,

So what is your experience with acoustic preamps? I need a preamp for a live setting going straight from the direct box to the FOH mixer(also for recording live) I would like for it to sound as natural as possible, with the least pickup sound as possible. I was thinking Zoom A2.1u, BBE Acoustimax, or a Boss AD-8. What be your thoughts?

I have a Boss AD-3. I have to say I've never been too thrilled with it.
I normally use a SansAmp Para Driver DI. I love how it sounds.

Might check out the bags Venue DI they seem to be well liked...

What kind of guitar and pickup have you got? I like to use a decent and and then line out the back to have a stage monitor as an added bonus

Baggs Para DI. Still one of the industry standards and for good reason.

Got to change my choice. Switched over to a Fishman pre amp. I like it 10 times better than the ParaDriver DI.

I have a Acoustic Image Clarus Amp. The preamp section is nice. It has a direct out and a lot of tonal control.

Awesome whether used as a Pre or an Amp.
