Tastefully played and recorded.

I think I would have liked to have heard a bit more structure in the flute's melody line. To me it seemed a bit rambling, as if it was more of an exploratory improvisational piece.

I think it's beautiful--musically and technically. The flute and piano are singing different parts of the same song--they just really flow. And the actual recording? Wow--that piano is both big and intimate at the same time--great job. The flute has just right amount of breath and reverb. I listened to the other tracks while I was there on Soundcloud--loved 'em all.

thanks. The piano had 3 mics on it. One near the bass end at the keyboard, the other over the treble then a stereo ribbon 4'out. The flute was on a KAM vocal mic
The piano mics were Sontronics, used a lot at Abbey Road studios.
Two of those were run through presonus preamps the stereo ribbon through a Sontronics stereo pre.
